Limitations for Bilingual Pairs

I limited this list to languages that had translations by native speakers linked to 5,000 or more English sentences with audio. The only exception is Esperanto which has no native speakers, so I made no attempt at quality control for Esperanto.

Selections

  • All = All the English sentences with audio and native-speaker translations (except Esperanto, which has no native speakers).
  • Tom = English sentences with the name Tom. These are sentence patterns that have a person's name. You can substitute in other names, of course, when you use these patterns.
  • French = These are sentence patterns that have the name of a language. You can substitute in other language names, when you use these patterns.
  • Boston = These are sentence patterns that have the name of a city. You can substitute in other city names, when you use these patterns.
  • Monday = These are sentence patterns that have the name of a day of the week. You can substitute in other days of the week, when you use these patterns.
  • October = These are sentence patterns that have the name of a month. You can substitute in other months, when you use these patterns.
  • Three = These are sentence patterns that have a number You can substitute in other numbers, when you use these patterns.
